Which barcode scanners work?
Any USB scanner that types like a keyboard, which is most of them. On a phone you can scan with the camera.
Can I sell by the carton and by the unit?
Yes. Add a carton to the product with the number of units, its price and its own barcode. Selling one carton takes all its units off the stock.
Can I set wholesale prices?
Yes. Each product can have a semi-wholesale and a wholesale price. Make a customer a business customer, choose their price level, and the cart reprices itself.
Does Dokani track expiry dates?
Yes. Add dates by batch, or when you receive a purchase order. Adding dates works on every plan; the Expiring soon report is part of Pro.
Can I import my products from Excel?
Yes. Import a spreadsheet with columns in English, French or Arabic. Dokani matches the columns and shows what will be added before anything is saved.
Does it print Algerian invoices?
Yes, for shops in Algeria: invoice, delivery note and pro forma with NIF, NIS, RC and ART, plus droit de timbre on cash sales to businesses.
